The city of Gotham needs you!
Citizens, do your civic duty! Since we can't capture fail!SMEYER under citizens arrest, write a review!

You know how craptastic the books are. So make sure Breaking Down isn't misrepresented. We deserved a better book.

I'll make it easy for you.

Some of these sites, you need to have ordered something from their site. Pretty sure with all of them, you need an account. So do what you can with the sites you have access to. Write an honest review, give the appropriate amount of stars you think it deserves.

Not that I'm suggesting anything...but I've pretty much chosen 1 star is as much as the book is going to get out of me.

Write reviews on:

-Amazon.com *most important because most frequent this site.
-Borders.com*also important
-Barnes and Noble.com*again, important
-Books-A-Million
-Alibris*no one written a review yet!
-Powells
-Half.com *only rating needed, so go rate!
-Chapters/Indigo

Non-purchasing sites, but still need you voice heard!:
Breaking Dawn Myspace
Fail!S.Meyer Myspace

If there any other sites, post them and I'll edit them in.

I'm going to do it after I write my e-mail to SMeyer and my LJ entry as to why the whole Twilight series fails.

cglue on August 3rd, 2008 12:03 am (UTC)
I don't have but I'm trying to find somewhere to sent it so she might read it. Maybe an adress for fanmail or something like that.

I'll be reviewing on amazon.co.uk once we get the book here in England!
pink_martini2pink_martini2 on August 2nd, 2008 08:19 pm (UTC)
Oh yes! sorry, of course the major ones should all have a .co.uk sister site. So anyone reading this, go ahead and leave some there too!

I just reviewed it. I was appalled at the 5 star average. I could not ignore that.

I reviewed on amazon. Normaly I don't feel moved enough one way or the other to go to these type of sites. I did with BD. People need to know what they are buying.

Just put in a comment for the SS Failmeyer's Myspace:

I'll be surprised if this makes it through screening, but Breaking Dawn was horrible. It was contrived, the characters were shadows of their former selves, and you ruined Jacob with the whole Nessie thing.

The only redeeming part about the whole thing was Jacob's perspective, but even then the actual events going on were dragged out too much.

Your editor should have cut it down to 400 pages and make it tighter and, in some things, told you to go back to the drawing board.

Also, I was expecting an epic battle, crazy newborn Bella, and angst over leaving her human life behind. We got none of this, therefore completely negating the whole thing about choice in Eclipse. Everything turned out to be "fate" after all, which is a cop-out.

wow I applaud that person for sounding so civil.

BTW. I was away for a birthday BBQ... and what did I come home to find? The 5 star ratings are now higher than the 1 star. Average is still 3 stars. BUT WTF

Posting for the lolz... This can be found over at the page for Breaking Fail at Chapters/Indigo. Go review there, as the raving fan girls are starting to verbally express the orgasms they had over the fail...

why are so many people dissapointed???

i just adored this book and i dont see why it was a dissapointment for so many. in fack it was the best in the series from my point of view. i loved that bella was ready to sacrafice herself for edwards baby and even had faith that she was going to live. she was happy even when it tore open her stomach because she loved her baby. and then jacob imprints on her, i thought this was quite funny, how is it disturbing? the ending was perfect too. edward and bella in their little cottage of love with their beloved nessie. how could things get better then that? why all the dissapointed reveiws???? i loved this book and it will always be one of my favourite books ever. stephanie meyer will always be one of my favourite authors ever. bella and edward will always remain in my heart.
